QPC Group transforms print services with MPS Monitor

Managed print services and office technology provider QPC Group, based in Perth, said it has slashed administrative workload by 70 per cent after implementing a new cloud-based print monitoring system.

It partnered with software-as-a-service provider MPS Monitor to streamline its managed print services operations across Australia and New Zealand.

The technology transformation began in 2019 when QPC Group started migrating 50 devices to the MPS Monitor platform, following unsuccessful trials with local and Canadian systems.

MPS’s cloud system enables remote management of multiple printer brands, including HP, Lexmark, Epson, and Fujifilm, through a single platform.

Integration with accounting software Xero has simplified billing processes, allowing QPC Group to provide consolidated invoices for all services.

A new alert system helps predict toner depletion, improving inventory management and reducing unnecessary replacements.

“MPS Monitor’s integration with HP SDS allows us to resolve client issues remotely and minimize on-site visits, aligning with our commitment to exceptional and fast service”, Lisa Spark, co-founder and general manager of QPC Group, said.

The technology enables remote firmware updates and device troubleshooting, significantly reducing the need for technicians to visit client sites.

QPC Group serves diverse sectors including healthcare, mining services, and hospitality, providing solutions from managed print services to video conferencing systems.

The company now plans to expand its operations to manage up to 10,000 devices, focusing on further innovations in billing and contract management.

MPS Monitor currently supports the remote monitoring of more than 2.3 million printing devices worldwide.
