This is a quick instructional video leading on from the WSD port video earlier.

Sometimes it is necessary to work out what the IP address of your printer is to add it into your computer properly or even just adjust the settings.

Without the actual printer IP address you will have a lot of problems adjusting settings.

In the video I will show you a few ways to discover the IP address.  By far the easiest is to print your configuration page on the printer as this will show you exactly what the printer is on.

Most HP printers are very easy to do this.

Scroll through to administration menu

Click information

Click Configuration/Status pages

Scroll to Configuration page and print.

Check the report for the current IP address.
